The Board is reviewing several important policy areas related to animal care, intake, financial stewardship, Board and staff roles, adoption, foster care, and organizational communications.
Your input through this survey will help the Board refine the policies, identify areas where clearer explanation is needed, and determine the need for additional conversations before policies are finalized or implemented.
This survey is not a formal vote on policy adoption. It is an opportunity for members to share priorities, questions, concerns, and suggestions before the Board completes its policy review.
The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes for most members. Some members may complete it more quickly, while others may choose to spend more time on the optional comment questions.
Survey responses are anonymous.
OMHS intends to share a summary of aggregated survey results and key themes with members. Representative comments may also be shared with the Board and/or members to help illustrate common questions, concerns, or suggestions. Any comments shared will be presented without attribution and with identifying details removed when reasonably possible.
Individual survey responses and raw response data will not be distributed to the membership or shared publicly. Raw survey data may be reviewed by the Board, or by individuals assisting the Board with survey analysis, for the limited purpose of understanding member feedback and identifying themes.
The purpose of this survey is to help the Board understand member perspectives, refine policy language, identify areas needing clearer explanation, and determine whether additional listening sessions or member conversations would be helpful.
